Siskiyou

Siskiyou is a 25 year old chestnut mare that is the second tallest horse on the ranch. Siskiyou is a very highly trained mare that was owned by one person her whole life until she arrived at the ranch.  She was “shown” when she was younger, then trained for long distance trail riding & completed several rides across the State of Michigan on the Shore to Shore Trail. Siskiyou is very smooth gaited, moves out easily, and is a joy to ride. She can carry the taller heavier Veterans and they appreciate how well she responds to their cues. Siskiyou also loves children and is carefully mindful when a little one is on her back. Siskiyou has a nice friendly personality and is easy to get along with.
