Nim is one of the longest serving & oldest therapy horse at the ranch. She is sensitive, kind, and reactive to her environment. She is one of the best teachers. Nim has been one of the most impactful horses at the ranch and has served in every type of class here. She teaches people to bring their energy and anxiety down, as she responds quickly to these things; we refer to her as an emotional thermometer. She has enabled many injured Veterans to ride because of her therapeutic movement that does not aggravate their conditions. Unfortunately, Nim has been retired from being ridden due to her own age related issues. Happily she is still sound for groundwork & still serves in Horses 4 Heroes Phase 1. Nim is a sweet mare with a “50 First Dates” personality.
