This event was an opportunity for RLR Veterans to gain a better understanding about he different types of Solar Products in our community.
It was a good night at the Traverse City Library last evening. Many community folks and local business leaders came to share their stories of successful transitioning to Solar Energy. (Our J.D. Sttratton was there early to share with a few people about Reining Liberty Ranch’s dream of “Going off the grid” too.)
One local business was “Light of Day” organic tea farmers who explained in detail how they chose to convert their business to Solar in hopes that one day it will be a “0” carbon day at the farm. They invited us to see their operation in the Spring on 2016 as they are currently putting their farm to “sleep” for winter.
Other stories came from private home owners and other small businesses who shared ideas of grants available and who in the community might be interested in our project. We also connected with American Waste Company CEO who offered some help to RLR.
