Our ranch is a vibrant hub of activity, and we’re always seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help us make a real impact. Whether you’re a veteran looking to give back, a horse lover, or simply someone with a heart for helping, we have a place for you!

Areas Where Your Help is Needed:
Equine Care & Barn Operations:
- Daily Feeding & Barn Maintenance:
- Join our team in providing essential care for our horses. Morning feeds occur around 6 am, and evening feeds are at approximately 5 pm.
- Assist with barn cleaning duties, typically between 8 am and 11 am.
- Horse experience is beneficial, but we provide comprehensive training!
- Goats, Chickens, and Peafowl too!
- These are essential tasks that keep our animals healthy and happy.
Program Support:
- Side-walkers & Horse Leaders:
- Provide invaluable support during our therapeutic programs, including:
- Grand Traverse Horses 4 Heroes (Veteran-specific support)
- Hippotherapy (Occupational Therapy) sessions
- Therapeutic Riding Programs and Lessons
- Kids Camps
- Support Programs.
- Your presence helps create a safe and empowering experience for our participants.
Grounds Maintenance & Special Projects:
- If you have a knack for landscaping, gardening, or construction, we need you!
- Help us maintain our beautiful grounds and contribute to exciting special projects.
- Seasonal opportunities are available.
Fundraising & Special Events:
- Help us raise vital funds to ensure our veteran services remain free of charge.
- We need creative individuals to plan and execute engaging fundraising events.
- Your efforts directly support our mission.
